12月11日，肖千大使出席澳大利亚中国总商会2024年度会员大会并发表主旨演讲。

肖大使表示，在两国领导人战略引领下，中澳双边关系全面转圜，深化互信、促进合作成为主流。中国深化改革，全面推进中国式现代化，将为中澳经贸合作带来更多机遇，造福两国人民。

澳国库部外国投资司司长廷宁、气变部国际气候与能源司司长希金斯、澳贸委政府和政策部总经理怀特出席会议并致辞，外交贸易部东亚司代理副司长科恩出席会议。澳方积极评价中澳经贸合作取得的成绩，欢迎中国企业继续在澳投资兴业，期待进一步深化包括应对气候变化、绿色循环经济等在内的各领域务实合作。

中国驻澳总领馆总领事、总商会全澳理事、会员单位代表等180人参加会议。

Chinese Ambassador to Australia Xiao Qian Attended the 2024 Annual General Meeting of CCCA and Delivered a Keynote Speech

On December 11, Chinese Ambassador to Australia Xiao Qian attended the 2024 Annual General Meeting of CCCA (China Chamber of Commerce in Australia) and delivered a keynote speech.

In his speech, Ambassador Xiao highlighted that, under the strategic leadership of leaders from both countries, China-Australia bilateral relations have achieved a  comprehensive turnaround, with deepened mutual trust and enhanced  collaboration emerging as dominant trends. He emphasized that China's ongoing reforms and its comprehensive pursuit of Chinese modernization will unlock greater opportunities for bilateral economic and trade cooperation, benefiting the peoples of both countries.

Chris Tinning, First Assistant Secretary of Foreign Investment  Division of Commonwealth Treasury; David Higgins, Head  of  International Climate and Energy Division of DCCEEW;   and Damian  White,  General Manager of  Government and  Policy of  Austrade, attended the meeting and delivered remarks. Adam Coin, Acting Assistant Secretary of East Asia  Division  of   DFAT,  was  also present. The Australian representatives commended the remarkable  achievements in China-Australia economic and trade cooperation, welcomed further investments and initiatives by Chinese enterprises in Australia, and expressed their desire to deepen pragmatic  cooperation in fields such as climate change and  green economy.

The event gathered prominent attendees, including Chinese Consuls General in Australia, members of National Committee of CCCA, and representatives from CCCA member enterprises，with a total of 180 participants.
