德国大众汽车昨日被查在美国排放量测试中造价, 截至昨日收盘其股票在法兰克福市场暴跌30欧元, 跌幅近20%, 其公司市场一夜损失达近140亿欧元，创在2008年3月金融危机以来最大跌幅。 
 
美国环境保护所称, 在德国大众汽车中几类柴油机动车软件存有欺骗排量检查的嫌疑. 每辆不合规机动车将被施以罚金达3.75万美元.  2008年卖出的48.2万辆机动车可能被调查, 罚金总额可能达180亿欧元. 德国大众汽车被令对近500万机动车进行召回。德国大众汽车首席执行官(CEO) 文德恩 (Winterkorn) 表示：“我本人对于我们损坏了客户与公众的信任感到抱歉”。他对大众公司发出排放量调查的指令，对在平常排放量大于在检验中排放量的机动车软件进行调查。
